Two presenters, or a face cam plus a document camera, in a single screen recording — no software to install. Here's the whole flow, start to finish. It takes about a minute to set up the first time.
What you need
- A recent Chrome, Edge or other Chromium browser (Firefox works for most of it)
- Two cameras connected — a built-in webcam plus any USB camera, or a phone used as a second cam
- A microphone (your headset or built-in mic is fine)
Step 1 — Pick your cameras, mic and resolution
Open the record page. You'll see dropdowns for Camera 1, Camera 2, your microphone and output resolution. Choose both cameras — this is the part most recorders don't let you do. On Free you're recording at 720p; Pro unlocks full HD. When it looks right, hit Continue.
Step 2 — Choose what to capture
Your browser asks what to share: your whole screen, a single window, or a specific browser tab. Pick one. If you only need part of the screen, you can drag a rectangle to capture just that area. This is a standard browser permission prompt, so you stay in control of exactly what's shown.
Step 3 — Place the camera circles
Now both webcams appear as circles on top of your screen preview. Two ways to arrange them:
- Drag each circle anywhere you want it
- Snap to a corner preset for a clean, aligned layout
Resize with the size slider so a co-host and a whiteboard cam both fit. Your positions and sizes are remembered, so next time you open the recorder it's already set up.
Step 4 — Blur anything sensitive (optional)
Before you record, drag a blur box over anything you don't want on camera — an email address, an invoice, a customer name. The blur is baked into the video, so it's covered in the final file, not just hidden in preview. There's also on-device AI auto-blur that can find and cover sensitive regions for you.
Step 5 — Record
Press record. A timer counts up so you can keep an eye on the 5-minute Free limit. Everything spoken is transcribed live as you go. Talk through your demo naturally — pause, resize a circle, whatever you need. Hit stop when you're done.
Step 6 — Edit on the timeline
Your recording opens in the timeline editor. Trim the dead air at the start, cut a mistake in the middle, tidy the ending. If you want text, one click turns your live transcript into a summary or a full article you can drop into show notes.
Step 7 — Download or upload to YouTube
Two ways to finish. Download the file to keep it entirely on your device, or upload straight to YouTube from the editor. Either way, the raw footage never sat on our servers to begin with.

Do I need to install anything?
No. EZ Web Streams is a web page. Grant camera and screen permission and you're recording — no app or extension.
Can I really use two webcams from one computer?
Yes. Any two cameras your system sees — built-in plus USB, or a phone as a second cam — can each go in their own circle.
Is my recording uploaded anywhere?
No. Compositing and recording happen on your device via the browser's canvas. The file stays with you unless you choose to upload it to YouTube.
